What Happens to Your Tyres
Collection
We collect your end-of-life tyres and load them for transport to a recycling facility.
Transport
Tyres are transported in compliance with Queensland waste transport regulations.
Recycling
Tyres are delivered to Tyre Stewardship Accredited tyre recycling facilities where they are processed into recovered materials such as rubber crumb, steel and fibre.
Recovery
Recovered materials are used in a range of applications including sports surfaces, playground equipment, road construction materials and industrial products.

Tyreways Recycling is accredited under the Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) program — Australia's national tyre stewardship scheme. TSA accreditation provides assurance that tyres collected by Tyreways are handled in compliance with national stewardship requirements and directed to appropriate recycling outcomes.
